Your Nutripath Testing Process

A step-by-step guide from test selection to your results consultation.

Your naturopath sets up your test

Your naturopath selects the right tests for you and sets everything up through their online portal on your behalf.

You receive a payment request

Nutripath will contact you directly via email and/or text message asking you to pay for your test. Complete this payment promptly so your kit can be sent out.

Your test kit arrives in the mail

Once payment is made, Nutripath posts your test kit directly to your home address.

Read through the instructions carefully — more than once

Before doing anything, read through all the instructions thoroughly. It’s worth reading them a couple of times to make sure you feel confident before you start.

Collect your sample

How you collect your sample depends on which test has been ordered:

Blood test — Take your kit to your nearest QML Pathology collection centre. Staff there will collect the sample for you.

Stool test — Everything you need is in your kit. Follow the instructions to collect at home.

Urine or saliva test — Complete the collection at home following the instructions in your kit.

Post your sample back — aim for Monday or Tuesday

Use the express post return envelopes in your kit. Posting early in the week ensures your sample arrives at Nutripath’s Melbourne lab by end of that week and remains viable.

Nutripath analyses your sample

Once the lab receives your sample, they run the tests and compile your results report, which is sent directly to your naturopath.

Your naturopath reviews and interprets your results

One of our naturopaths carefully reviews your results and prepares a full interpretation for you.

You receive an email to book your results consultation

Once your results have been reviewed, you’ll receive an email through Cliniko inviting you to book a consultation. Your naturopath will walk you through your results and discuss next steps.
