Interclinical Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis:     $228

    *Hair mineral analysis Interpretation: $45

InterClinical Laboratories -an Australian leader in Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA).  Providing accurate, reproducible clinical results with a gold-standard evidence-based interpretive report.

HTMA is a safe and non-invasive pathology test measuring the levels of nutrients and toxic minerals (including heavy metals) found in hair (to parts per million). HTMA is one of the most valuable screening tools available in preventative health care.

Food intolerance testing  – $350 – $650

  • IgG & IgA 96 foods – blood spot or Serum

Food sensitivities can cause a wide range of symptoms and disorders. The foods that cause these delayed reactions are often hard to diagnose because of the time between consumption and the physical reaction. The IgG food allergy test offers a useful tool for detecting the foods causing this response. The results are patient specific and provide an easy, precise and effective starting point for dietary manipulation.

The foods that cause these delayed reactions are often hard to diagnose because of the time between consumption and the physical reaction. Generally, an IgG reaction occurs hours to days after exposure to these food antigens.

The IgG food allergy test offers a useful tool for detecting the foods causing this response. The results are patient specific and provide an easy, precise and effective starting point for dietary manipulation.

  • ALCAT Food

Intolerances/Sensitivities to foods + food additives + food chemicals + environmental chemicals + herbs/dietary supplements + moulds can cause a wide range of symptoms and disorders. The ALCAT® diagnostic system detects changes in the size and number of leucocytes (i.e. immune cells) in response to exposure to the offending foods, chemicals, additives, herbs and moulds.

The ALCAT® diagnostic system is a useful test which can be used to screen for intolerance and sensitivities to:

  • Foods
  • Food Additives
  • Food Chemicals
  • Environmental Chemicals
  • Herbs/Dietary Supplements
  • Antibiotics and Anti-inflammatories
  • Moulds

This diagnostic system detects changes in the size and number of leucocytes (i.e. immune cells) in response to exposure to these analytes.

Adrenals & Female Hormone Profile – $290

https://www.nutripath.com.au/product/igf-bp3-insulin-growth-factor-binding-function-blood-serum-sst-test-code-1106/

Hormones are crucial to a woman’s reproductive health. The main hormones affecting the menstrual cycle and fertility are produced by glands in the brain and by the ovaries. Those hormones regulate menstruation, fertility and sex drive (libido) – any one of which can be adversely affected if the production of these hormones goes out of balance. As most women approach mid-life, hormonal changes gradually cause reproductive organs to shut down eventually leading to menopause.

Hormones are tremendously complex and during the pre-menopausal years, imbalanced hormones can pose challenges with mood stabilisation, conception and regulation of your menstrual cycle. The Female Hormone Profile provides valuable information on an individual’s hormonal status and the potential impact this may have on physical and emotional health.

Salivary hormone measurements provide an effective analysis of estrogens, progesterone, and testosterone in determining the need for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Hormone levels may be normal, indicating that hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is not needed.

Salivary cortisol testing is an effective, non-invasive salivary hormone test that evaluates bioactive levels of the body’s important stress hormones, cortisol and DHEA. This hormone test (stress test) serves as a critical tool for uncovering biochemical imbalances underlying anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity, dysglycemia, and a host of other clinical conditions that may affect our day to day lives. This hormone test examines 4 saliva samples over a 12-hour period for levels of cortisol and DHEA. The Adrenocortex test should be used as a general screening test as it plays such an important role for a healthy life.

Common Conditions:

  • Weight gain
  • Night sweats
  • Depression
  • Irregular menstruation
  • Mood changes
  • Brain fog
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Bone loss
  • Dry skin
  • Fatigue
  • Insomnia
  • Disturbed sleep patterns
  • Low libido
  • Infertility
  • Miscarriage
  • PMS
  • Symptoms of menopause
  • PCOS

The Complete Microbiome Mapping Test was designed to assess a patient’s microbiome from a single stool sample, with particular attention to microbes that cause disease or that disrupt normal microbial balance and contribute to perturbations in the GI flora and contribute to illness.

The panel is a comprehensive collection of microbial targets as well as immune and digestive markers. It screens for pathogenic bacteria, commensal bacteria, opportunistic pathogens, fungi, viruses, and parasites.

Common Conditions:

  • IBS/IBD
  • Abdominal cramps or pain
  • leaky gut symptoms
  • SIBO
  • Allergies
  • Weakness
  • Diarrhoea

Leaky gut – Intestinal permeability – $120

https://www.nutripath.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/2011-INTESTINAL-PERMEABILITY-1.pdf

Changes in intestinal permeability are associated with many health conditions including autism, autoimmune disorders, food sensitivities and inflammatory bowel disease. This ‘leaky gut’ causes disease because the perturbed intestinal barrier allows toxic molecules to enter the bloodstream and poison the body.  Intestinal permeability can be measured using the lactulose/mannitol test. Consider this test for the assessment of intestinal permeability and malabsorption.

The intestinal permeability test which assesses lactulose and mannitol recovery can be used to monitor improvements or deterioration in intestinal permeability as a result of therapy, disease or drug use.  Furthermore, the intestinal permeability test has been used to monitor the compliance and effectiveness of a gluten-free diet in patients with Coeliac disease.

Common Conditions:

  • Gut dysbiosis
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease – Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, Coeliac
  • Fatigue
  • Food allergy and sensitivities
